Hearing Procedures: Participants at the Hearing

The following individuals are usually present during Fairfield County BOR hearings: (1) BOR members, including the county auditor, county treasurer, and one county commissioner, or their respective designees; (2) the BOR Administrator; and (3) the Auditor’s appraisal staff. The attorney for the local school board may also be present, along with any witnesses on the school board's behalf. The county prosecutor and/or a stenographer may also be present on rare occasions. Please note that BOR hearing participants for other county boards of revision (other than the required BOR members) may vary from county to county.
