PROSECUTING ATTORNEY
KYLE WITT
Kyle Witt began his career as an assistant prosecutor for the City of Lancaster where he learned firsthand how drugs and violent crime impacts our families and neighborhoods. During that time, he earned a reputation as a tough but fair prosecutor willing to stand up for victims and hold criminals accountable. He was elected Fairfield County Prosecuting Attorney in November 2016 with overwhelming support from the Fairfield County law enforcement community.
A firm believer that public service must extend beyond the confines of the office, Kyle is active in a number of professional and civic organizations. He is an active member in both the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Prosecuting Attorney’s Association, and the Fairfield County Bar Association. He also serves on the United Way of Fairfield County Board of Trustees and is a member of Lancaster Rotary #375.
Kyle is a graduate of Otterbein University and the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He lives in Lancaster with his wife, Sarah, and three children.
