SENIOR AND VETERAN ASSISTANCE (SAVA) PROGRAM APPLICATION
The SAVA Program provides qualifying Fairfield County Utilities customers with a 10% reduction on their bill. To qualify for the SAVA Program, you must be 65 years of age or older and either be a part of Ohio’s Homestead Exemption or be a veteran. Qualifying customers will need to apply for the program. Applications are available through the link on this webpage, at the Fairfield County Utilities Office, at the Fairfield County Auditor’s Office, or at the Fairfield County Veteran Service Office. Applicants must provide supporting documentation in the form of your current income tax return if you are applying under Ohio’s Homestead Exemption, or your DD214 if you are applying as a veteran. Applications must be submitted to the Fairfield County Utilities Office located at 6670 Lockville Road, Carroll, Ohio 43112. Please note that the Fairfield County Utilities account must be in the applicant’s name. The 10% reduction will be effective on the next billing cycle, but no sooner than 10 business days from when the office received the application. Once the SAVA Program Application has been received and approved by Fairfield County Utilities, the discount will continue for as long as you meet the necessary requirements.
